Charlotte’s 9 Month Milestone Session | In-Home Studio Experience

There is something so special about the 9 month milestone. It’s that sweet in-between stage where baby’s personality is shining, little giggles come easily, and those chubby cheeks and curious eyes are just begging to be documented. Charlotte’s session was the perfect example of why I love this age so much—and why in-home milestone sessions are truly something special.

From the moment I walked into Charlotte’s home, I knew this session was going to be a dream. Her nursery was the softest shade of pink, paired beautifully with a classic white crib—timeless, simple, and full of warmth. It created the perfect backdrop for capturing her right where so many of her sweetest memories are being made.

Charlotte wore the most beautiful white dress that complemented the entire aesthetic so effortlessly. The softness of her outfit against the blush tones of her nursery gave every image that light, airy, and classic feel that never goes out of style.

One of my favorite parts of this session was incorporating her big brother. Watching him interact with Charlotte—making her laugh, climbing into her crib to be near her, and sneaking in those proud sibling smiles—was so incredibly special. These are the moments that families will treasure forever, and I always love making space for siblings to be part of milestone sessions.

In addition to documenting life in her nursery, we also brought in my pop-up in-home studio, which is truly a game changer for milestone sessions. Without ever leaving the comfort of home, we were able to create stunning, classic studio portraits of Charlotte. These clean, timeless images put all the focus right where it belongs—on her sweet expressions, tiny details, and growing personality.

We also captured heirloom portraits of both Charlotte and her big brother individually. These are the kind of images that feel just as meaningful decades from now as they do today—simple, emotive, and beautifully classic. They’re perfect for printing, framing, and passing down for generations.

To add a little seasonal touch, we finished with a few Easter-inspired setups. These were soft, simple, and perfectly suited for her age—just enough to celebrate the season while still keeping the focus on Charlotte.
