The Teen Squad Experience

So much more than just photo shoots.
This is a full year experience designed for rising 9th-12th grade girls who want gorgeous photos, new friendships, fun activities, and something exciting to look forward to throughout the school year.
From August through April, I’ll photograph the Teen Squad through four styled seasonal shoots across some of my favorite locations in Wake and Johnston Counties. Each session includes both individual portraits and group photos, but the biggest focus is always making sure every girl gets beautiful images of herself.
The best part? Girls from different schools and different grades get to connect all year long. It’s such a fun way to meet new people and build friendships outside of your normal circle.

Program Timeline: August 2026 – April 2027
Total Sessions: 4 themed group shoots + bonus activities
Spots Available: Limited (application required)
Investment: $800
$100 due at acceptance
$350 due August 5, 2026, and January 5, 2027
Quarterly and monthly payment plans are also available upon request.
Credit: you receive $100 credit per shoot ($400 total) to use towards digital images and/or print products
Print Products: a personalized mini album ($200 value)
Referrals: receive a $100 credit for every friend who uses your name when they book a session with me
Each group session includes a fun team-building or community activity designed to help connect, support one another, and make memories beyond photos.
ABOUT DIGITAL IMAGES
The Teen Squad membership covers the sessions themselves as well as the bonus activities. Digital images and print products are purchased separately after each session. Images start at $25 each, and discounted image bundles are available.
Each session includes a $100 credit ($400 total over the entire program). The $100 credit fully covers four (4) digital images OR two (2) 8x10 matted prints and the matching digitals. This means that you will receive your absolute favorite images from each shoot at no additional cost. Purchasing extra digitals or print products is never mandatory. AND you get a personalized mini album at the end of the program with all your favorites from the entire year included with the Teen Squad membership!
Application Process
Joining the Teen Squad is a two-step process designed to make sure the program is the right fit for both the student and the family.
Step 1: Submit an Application
Complete the online application form. Applications are reviewed carefully to ensure each applicant aligns with the values and commitment of the program.
Step 2: Complete the Contract and Deposit
If selected as a potential fit, you will be invited to join the program. To accept your position, you and your parent/guardian will need to sign the contract and pay the initial deposit. At that time you will officially be a member of the Teen Squad! Yay!

What is the Teen Squad?
The Teen squad is a 9 month long experience for high school students in grades 9-12 that includes themed photo sessions, team-building and personal development activities, and exclusive opportunities throughout the school year. Members represent Leah Parente Photography while participating in professionally styled shoots designed to celebrate this season of life and create meaningful memories and bonds with their peers beyond just photographs.
Who can apply?
The Teen Squad is open to rising 9th - 12th grade students who are comfortable being photographed, active on social media, and excited to participate in a creative, positive, and supportive group experience.
What happens if I miss a shoot?
Group shoots are scheduled in advance and cannot be rescheduled for individuals. Because these sessions are an important part of the experience, Teen Squad members are strongly encouraged to attend all scheduled shoots and activities whenever possible. To help ensure availability for the group, a scheduling questionnaire will be sent out prior to the start of the program to gather availability and minimize conflicts. If you do have to miss a shoot, the $100 credit for that shoot can be applied to any of the other shoots throughout the year.
Are images included in the program fee?
Images are sold separately after each session, however every session includes a $100 credit to purchase digital images and/or print products. Digital images are $25 per image. There is no obligation to purchase photos from every shoot. Teen Squad members are encouraged to attend and participate in all sessions and activities because this experience is also about building friendships, confidence, and creating meaningful memories.
What makes Leah Parente Photography different?
I specialize in heirloom-quality print products, custom albums, and wall art designed to preserve your senior's story for generations. Additionally, each session is paired with thoughtfully planned activities that foster connection, confidence, and meaningful experiences well beyond the photographs.
Do parents need to be involved?
Yes. Parents will be included in all email correspondence including program details and payments. Parents will also need to co-sign the contract for any Teen Squad members under 18 at the time of the program's start. Parents are also welcome to attend all sessions and bonus activities too!
Do I receive anything for referring a friend?
Yes. Teen Squad Members who refer a friend who books a session* with Leah Parente Photography will receive a $100 credit to use toward digital images or print products.
*Mini sessions and pop-up events excluded.
What do I wear to the sessions?
I will send out style guides for each session so you know exactly what will work best for each shoot! We'll be doing two outfits per session, so you'll have lots of variety throughout the year!
