Alexa’s Senior Session at Historic Oak View County Park | Clayton High School Class of 2026

Spring sessions in North Carolina are always something special—but Alexa’s senior session at Historic Oak View County Park truly felt like magic. With soft golden light, fresh blooms, and that dreamy early-spring glow, it was the perfect setting to celebrate such an exciting season of life.

Alexa is a senior at Clayton High School and one of my incredible 2026 Senior Ambassadors. Getting to photograph her in such a meaningful place, during one of the prettiest times of year, made this session unforgettable.

A Dreamy Spring Senior Session in Raleigh, NC

Late March gave us the most beautiful soft spring light—glowy, flattering, and perfectly diffused. Historic Oak View County Park offers a mix of rustic charm and open fields, which made it easy to create a gallery full of variety while keeping everything cohesive and timeless.

The subtle greens and early blooms paired so beautifully with Alexa’s outfits, creating that light, airy look so many seniors love.

Outfit One: Classic & Timeless

Alexa’s first outfit—a simple white top paired with jeans—was the definition of effortless and timeless. This look is always a favorite because it keeps the focus exactly where it should be: on you.

It photographed beautifully against the soft tones of the park and gave her gallery that clean, classic feel that will never go out of style.

Outfit Two: A Pop of Color

For her second look, Alexa changed into a casual red dress that brought the perfect pop of color to her session. Think easy, flowy, and full of movement—ideal for those twirling, candid moments that feel natural and fun.

The red against the soft greens of early spring? Absolutely stunning.

Celebrating What’s Next: NC State Bound

One of my favorite parts of Alexa’s session was incorporating her North Carolina State University pennant flag. These little personal details make such a big impact—they tell your story.

Alexa will be attending NC State this fall, and it was so special to capture this moment of transition and excitement for what’s ahead.
