Choosing how to celebrate your senior year is a big decision. For many high school seniors in Raleigh, NC and surrounding areas, senior portraits are more than just photos, they are a way to mark an important milestone with confidence and joy.

The Leah Parente Photography Senior Experience was created to help seniors in Raleigh, NC and surrounding areas connect, feel empowered, build friendships, and capture this once-in-a-lifetime season in a meaningful way. But the real story is best told by the girls who have already been part of it.

Here’s what past ambassadors had to say about how this program impacted their senior year.

A Confidence-Boosting Senior Experience in Raleigh, NC

One of the biggest themes past ambassadors mention is how much their confidence grew.

McKenzie shared:

“Being on Leah’s ambassador team helped me get comfortable in front of a camera. It gave me confidence that I didn’t have before.”

Briley added:

“It honestly made me feel confident and comfortable in my own skin.”

For many high school seniors, stepping in front of the camera can feel intimidating. Through guided posing, encouragement, and a supportive environment, ambassadors learn to see themselves differently—confident, strong, and proud of who they are becoming.

Reagan said:

“Leah always made me feel so confident and truly beautiful in front of the camera. I would 100% recommend this program to any senior in the Raleigh area looking for confidence, community, and the best memories.”

Making New Friends Across Raleigh and Surrounding High Schools

The Senior Experience Ambassador Program brings together seniors from different high schools across Raleigh, Garner, Benson, Goldsboro, and surrounding North Carolina communities. These girls form genuine friendships while celebrating their senior year together.

Bella shared:

“My favorite part was getting to connect with such an encouraging group of girls while building confidence in myself and celebrating such an exciting season of life.”

For seniors who want more than just a traditional photo session, this program creates a sense of belonging and connection during a milestone year.

Creative Photoshoots Around Raleigh, NC

One of the most exciting parts of the program is the variety of photoshoots throughout the year. Ambassadors explore different locations around Raleigh and the greater Triangle area, creating a gallery of images that reflect their personality and style.

Briley loved the creative side of it too:

“My favorite part was getting dressed up in fun outfits that really expressed my style… it’s such a fun way to express yourself, make memories, and be part of something really special.”

Each shoot is designed to highlight individuality while also celebrating the power of community.

A Lasting Impact Beyond Graduation

The Senior Experience isn’t just about photos—it’s about growth.

Olivia shared:

“My favorite part was getting the pictures and honestly feeling good about myself and meeting sweet girls. I recommend this 100% because it is such a good way to get out there, find friends and get great pictures of yourself through your whole senior year. I still use my pictures for resumes and such.”

These images become reminders of confidence and self-worth long after senior year ends.
